Urban Arts Academy offers affordable preschool, afterschool, and summer arts education.

PRESCHOOL

Our preschool program uses art as the tool to enhance a child's natural desire to explore . The program runs September-May, 9:00a-12:30p and/or 1:00p-4:30p, for children ages 3-5.

AFTERSCHOOL

After School Arts brings elementary & middle school students and
artists together to learn, create and perform.
Students also receive small group homework and academic support.
The Afterschool program runs September - May,
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30p - 4:45p (grades k-5)
or 5:00p - 7:00p (grades 6-8).

SUMMER ARTS

Summer Arts for children ages 3 - 9 provides 9 weeks of themed art camps,
from Fantasy Art to Robotics, from Circus Camp to Spanish!
Each camp runs Monday through Thursday for one week, morning or afternoon.

Summer Arts for children ages 6-14 provides 5 weeks of themed art camps for children living in South Minneapolis. Each camp runs Monday through Thursday for one week, 12:30p - 4:30p.

Kidpower is an invitation-only Summer Arts program that features
one-on-one arts mentorships for children
already enrolled in our afterschool program.
