Greetings to our Urban Arts Academy

You may have heard about an exciting opportunity to help your favorite Minnesota non-profit organizations, including Urban Arts. A new website, GiveMN.org has just been created as a one-stop shop to learn about, engage with, and support Minnesota charities.
To launch the site, several large foundations, the Minneapolis, St. Paul and Bush Foundations, are sponsoring "Give to the Max Day" on this coming Tuesday, November 17. All contributions made on their website during the 24 hours between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday will receive matching funds from a pool of $500,000 donated by the sponsoring foundations. The size of the match will be determined by the total donations made, but every donation from $10 to $2,500 will be matched. The normal transaction fees for using credit cards are also being covered, meaning 100% of your donation will be available to us to support our mission to provide creative experiences in the arts for children and families to develop the gifts of self-expression and community.
If you're considering a donation to Urban Arts before the end of the year, please consider doing so via GiveMN this Tuesday, November 17 and stretch your gift dollars further. All gifts of $10 or more are eligible, so even small contributions are helpful.

A gIft of $100 or more enrolls you as a member of Dick's Jazz Club, a group of folks who believe in and support the work of Urban Arts with kids in south Minneapolis.
