To Our Urban Arts Academy Friends and Supporters!

Thank you for supporting us during GIVE To THE MAX Day! You may start making donations on November 1, 2016; do not leave it to the last minute.

And this year, your gift can have double the impact: We’re thrilled to announce all new or increased gifts, up to $5,000, will be matched 1:1 by an anonymous donor! Help us turn $5,000 into $10,000 by making your gift to Urban Arts Academy by midnight on #GTMD16.

Be a superhero for us by covering the online processing fee.

Based on feedback from generous donors like you, GiveMN launched a new feature earlier this year which gives you the power to pay the online processing fee associated with your donation!

Whenever you make a donation through, you’ll be able to cover that fee on behalf of UAA, ensuring 100% of your intended donation goes directly to us. It’s like the online version of putting your own stamp on the envelope you send back with your gift.

Premier lifestyle retailer opens newest retail location at Galleria Edina in Edina, MN

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Sundance, a premier lifestyle retailer of women’s and men’s apparel and footwear, jewelry, accessories, art and home decor, is excited to announce the opening of its newest store in Edina, MN. The store, located at Galleria Edina, will host the Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, September 17th 2015.

The opening of the Edina Sundance Store will mark the company’s first of two new retail locations east of the Rocky Mountains in 2015, growing from its western roots. CEO Matey Erdos comments, “We are excited to launch our next phase of retail expansion with the opening of Galleria Edina. With our growing and geographically diverse customer base, we could not be more pleased to be presenting our newest retail experience in the mid-west. We have a loyal following in theMinneapolis area who demonstrate a great affinity towards the Sundance brand. We are confident our new store in Galleria Edina will be a great success.”

The store design is artisan inspired, using reclaimed wood and artisan materials to promote the brand’s heritage. Erdos adds, “The Sundance vision embraces the spirit of creativity and fosters new discovery. Our Edina store will aesthetically further that vision in an original and captivating way.”  One-of-a-kind pieces and items exclusive to Sundance will be the cornerstone of the product offering.

With its historical commitment to the artisan community, Sundance is donating a portion of the proceeds from the Grand Opening weekend to Urban Arts Academy, a Minnesota-based organization furthering youth art education. “It’s critical to provide support for local arts and artisans. We look forward to following the growth of the young artists in this community and to celebrate their inspiring creations of tomorrow,” says Erdos.

The company plans to continue its retail growth over the next several years with additional stores targeted across various locations nationwide.
